MOSCOW, Jan 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation amounted to 0.5% from January 1 through Wednesday, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Friday.
In the reported week, prices for eggs rose 1.7%, for millet 1.0%, and for buckwheat 0.6%. But prices for pork decreased 0.1%
Prices for fruit and vegetables grew 3.1% on average, with cucumbers becoming 8.4% more expensive, tomato prices rising 6.1%, and prices for cabbage growing 4.6%.
Gasoline prices increased 0.3% and diesel fuel prices grew 0.7%.
Tariffs for public utility services rose 0.7–1.6%.
